The Inaugural Festive Fun River Run kicks off Christmas on Sunday 3rd December ! It is a fun untimed run, jog, skip, walk, hop, amble or stroll around a 7km beautiful river course from Riverside Studios by Hammersmith Bridge to Putney Bridge and back again. Participants are encouraged to get festive so dig out your inflatable christmas pudding outfits, elf stockings, reindeer antlers and santa suits! Get creative and join lots of festive fun runners on this beautiful stretch in London beside the Thames which takes in part of the famous Boat Race course, Sam’s Riverside, Fulham Reach Boat Club, The Blue Boat, Brasserie Blanc, The River Cafe, The Crabtree, Fulham Palace, renowned Putney embankment Boat Clubs and Harrods depository. The event is open to everyone and all ages and includes pre and post refreshments at Riverside Studios, free festive activities for all the family, finishers medals and prizes for the most festive adult, child, toddler and dog and first adult and child home! The Festive Fun River Run has been created as a new fun wellbeing event in Hammersmith and Fulham for the whole family, to raise awareness of our waterways and riverside businesses and raise funds for Fulham Reach Boat Club (FRBC). FRBC is a sports development charity in Hammersmith that aims to utilise the power of sport, particularly rowing, to positively impact the lives of disadvantaged and marginalised communities in London. The event is organised by Fulham Reach Boat Club and Riverside Studios in association with the Riverside Business Group.
